When each of the nine candidates competing for the seat of Flinders in the recent federal election announced their opposition to AGL’s ill-advised plans to import LNG into Victoria through Westernport Bay, Save Westernport and Environment Victoria invited the candidates to speak to the community at a public meeting on 1st May 2019.
Attendees of the meeting that packed Balnarring Hall vowed in a Motion to oppose the project until it is withdrawn.
Wording of the Motion and details of the hugely successful event can be read on page 10 of The Balnarring Bridge.
