Mornington Peninsula Shire is breathing new life into the Crib Point Township Plan 2009-2011. The plan sets the strategic vision and direction for the township’s development and aims to protect Crib Point’s unique character of tree lined streets and a mix of old and new houses.
The original Plan established a long-term vision and guidance for the future development of Crib Point and was prepared in consultation with the town’s residents.

Crib Point’s Coastal wetlands location makes it almost unique in Westernport, and therefore in Victoria . The 320 Ha of wasted, disused Port land that separates the village of Crib Point from the foreshore needs to be unrently be rezoned, to make room for recreation and enjoyment of open spaces, for people to enjoy Westernport and value its uniqueness and ecological significance
